Taylor Dentistry provides quality pediatric and general dentistry for
families in Omaha, Elkhorn, Bellevue, Papillion, and surrounding
Omaha, NE areas. Our patient care is a reflection of our philosophy
that all patients deserve great dental care with a friendly,
personalized approach.
Meet Our Dentists
Dr. Brett Taylor attended Creighton University where he was a student-
athlete on the baseball team. He then graduated in 2006 from the University of
Nebraska Medical Center’s College of Dentistry “With Distinction”, by
accumulating a GPA greater than 3.75 for the four years of dental school.
He has co-authored two scholarly papers. He also participated in two other
research studies that investigated bonding techniques. Both of the papers were
presented at the International Association of Dental Research. In addition, he
completed an externship in pediatric dentistry at the University of Nebraska
Medical Center. Dr. Taylor also volunteers for dental community service projects,
including the Special Olympics providing free dentistry to the athletes.
As an active member of several dental associations, Dr. Taylor regularly
attends national conventions to stay abreast on the latest in general and esthetic
dentistry. He has traveled to attend the American Academy of Cosmetic
Dentistry Convention, Rocky Mountain Dental Convention, International
Association of Dental Research, Chicago Dental Society Mid-Winter Meeting,
and the American Dental Association annual meetings in the past. Recently, Dr.
Taylor attended the American Dental Association annual meeting, where he took advantage of many continuing
education seminars. He also is a ClearCorrect provider, which allows him to provide invisible braces to his
patients.
Dr. Taylor is married, and has a daughter named Alexa, and a son named Zack. He has two dogs; a
Westie, named Lily, and a Brittany, named Mikey. Besides spending time with his family, friends, and dogs, Dr.
Taylor also enjoys playing sports, including sponsoring and coaching youth baseball and softball teams. As a
comprehensive dentist, Dr. Taylor is able to serve your family’s esthetic, restorative, and preventive dental
health care needs. He welcomes and enjoys children as well as adults as patients in his practice.

Dr. Brett Taylor
General and Esthetic Dentistry
Dr. Mark Taylor attended the University of Nebraska for his collegiate work,
his dental training, and his specialty training. He is currently the Chairman of
Pediatric Dentistry at Creighton University. He has also held several other
positions at Creighton University, including Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs and
Executive Associate Dean.
Dr. Taylor's work has been published in every major dental journal in the
United States, including the Journal of the American Dental Association, The
Journal of Pediatric Dentistry, The Journal of Dentistry for Children, The Journal
of Pediatric Dental Care, The Journal of Dental Research, The Journal of Dental
Education, The Journal of Clinical Orthodontics, and Special Care in Dentistry to
name a few. He has given numerous professional presentations to dental
associations including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the
American Society of Dentistry for Children, as has lectured at several continuing
education courses for dental professionals. His lecture topics at Creighton
include all major subjects related to pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Taylor has published two chapters in dental books, the Dental Clinics of
North America and Mosby's Review for the National Board Dental Examination, Part II. He is a member of two
honorary dental organizations, Omicron Kappa Upsilon and is a Fellow of the American College of Dentistry.
Dr. Taylor has maintained a private practice in pediatric dentistry for almost 30 years. He is married to
Kathy, and has two children, Brett and Lauren. Brett's information is listed above; Lauren is a graduate of
Creighton University’s Law School. In his spare time, Dr. Taylor enjoys sports and plays electric guitar.
